Meet the Maestro. Since assuming the post of Music Director in September 2002, Lorin Maazel has conducted nearly two dozen Philharmonic concerts, including 10 on tour with the Orchestra in the Far East on the 2002 Citigroup Asian Tour. The Philharmonic's Director of Publications recently sat down with the Maestro to ask him about his first few months on the job.
