Handeliana
Jacob Maurice Coopersmith (1903-1968), musicologist and music librarian, amassed over his lifetime a personal research collection on the life and works of George Frideric Handel (1685-1759). After Coopersmith's death, parts of this collection found their way into three different music libraries: the University of Michigan, the Peabody Conservatory of Music, and the University of Maryland .
